Land Acknowledgement

Here in the foothills, we walk on the traditional territories of the Îyârhe Nakoda, Niitsitapi, and Tsuut’ina Nations, and the homeland of the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.

These lands have long been home to the stories of people and horses. We honour the First Peoples who care for this land, and we honour the wild horses who still run free upon it.
