Every dollar goes to the horses. Here is what that looks like.

$20 provides one full day of care — hay, feed, and everything a wild horse needs to get through the day.

$150 covers a farrier visit — the regular hoof care that keeps horses sound and comfortable throughout their time with us.

$500 covers a full veterinary assessment — the first thing every horse receives when they arrive, and the foundation of everything that follows.

$1,200 supports one full month of care — feed, farrier, veterinary attention, and the daily patient work of rehabilitation.

ABOUT US

Wild Horses of Alberta Society’s is a registered Alberta non-profit and charity dedicated to keeping wild horses wild and free

Land Acknowledgement

Here in the foothills, we walk on the traditional territories of the Îyârhe Nakoda, Niitsitapi, and Tsuut’ina Nations, and the homeland of the Métis Nation of Alberta.

These lands have long been home to the stories of people and horses. We honour the First Peoples who care for this land, and we honour the wild horses who still run free upon it.
